Frequently Asked Questions
1. Do you "take" insurance?
We are frequently asked if we "take" insurance. The answer is YES! We see patients with all insurance plans. We are a cash practice office, payment is due at the time of service. Depending on your insurance, we will bill as a courtesy and we ask them to remit payment directly to you (the patient).
2. What if I have been in a car accident?
Dr. Barker is skilled in personal injury exams and we also have in-house X-ray for your convenience. If you have been involved in a personal injury or auto accident, we will also bill your claim to the responsible party's auto insurance or med-pay.
3. What should I expect during my first visit with the doctor?
Your first appointment at Revolution Chiropractic will be approximately 45 minutes. Vitals and a nerve-scan will be done by the CA, then Dr. Barker reviews your health history, does a thorough exam and, if necessary, X-rays during this visit.
4. Are X-Rays required?
Dr. Barker does like to see the internal structures of the spine in most patients. Xrays allow him to visualize the structures of the spine and some of the soft tissues. This prevents adjusting areas of the spine that may have anomalies that should not be adjusted. If you've had recent images taken at another provider's office or hospital, (within a year) please bring a disc with you to your initial visit.
